Bergen kommune provides safe and secure bike parking solutions at the Fyllingsdalen Terminal in Bergen. The Fyllingsdalen Terminal is an important public transportation hub in the Fyllingsdalen district of Bergen, with stops for buses, light rail, and taxis. The terminal is located near the upcoming light rail stop at Oasen and the Oasen shopping center. The bus terminal opened to the public on August 29, 2022, and is part of Bergen's focus on promoting sustainable transportation options and improving infrastructure for cyclists.

Innovative Infrastructure

Bergen kommune has invested heavily in the Fyllingsdalen Terminal, including the upcoming light rail system and the world's longest pedestrian and bicycle tunnel, the Fyllingsdalen Tunnel. To improve the offerings for cyclists at the terminal, Bergen kommune purchased 24 smart bike lockers from Bikely. The lockers feature a beautiful wooden facade that blends in with the surroundings and provides a secure and stylish place for cyclists to park their bikes while using public transportation.
